Three From LUSH

Three From LUSH
Don't get me wrong; I love a LUSH bath bomb. But in all honesty, I rarely run a bath and currently have a small stash of LUSH bath bombs residing in a drawer under my bed. So in recent months I've branched out past their infamous bombs and stumbled upon a few new products that today I thought I'd share my thoughts on.

LUSH Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub £8.95
When fellow blogger and friend Laura from Tease Flutter Pout recommend the LUSH Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub on a recent trip to Lakeside how could I not pop it into my basket? The blue slush puppiesque scrub is packed with fine mineral-rich sea salt. It's scent isn't as irresistible as other LUSH products, with a squeeze of lemon juice and the tropical scent of mimosa blossom. But isn't unpleasant either. It can be massaged onto dry skin for a more abrasive exfoliation treatment, or onto damp skin for a gentle rub rub rub. Personally I prefer to use the scrub with my exfoliating gloves whilst in the shower. However, the tub has the tendency to fill with water when I take a second scoop and then I compromise product when attempting to drain the water away (I can't win!). But nevertheless, this scrub foams well and leaves my skin feeling clean, fresh and super soft. And it can be used as shampoo - talk about versatile. Not only does it exfoliate the scalp, due to the high concentration of sea salt it instantly adds volume to my hair too!

LUSH Honey Trap Lip Balm £6.75
I'm a sucker for a delicious scent and the LUSH Honey Trap Lip Balm doesn't disappoint! Not only is this lip balm rich, soothing, moisturising it smells so darn good - I'm hooked! And it's not surprising as this little pot is packed with natural ingredients such as honey and oatmeal, wheat germ olive, almond oils, honey, peppermint, white chocolate extract(!) and vanilla.

LUSH Godiva Shampoo Bar £6.95
I admit I was a little apprehensive at first, but who wouldn't be? Not only does the shampoo bar look like an omelette, I've forever been washing my hair with liquid products. LUSH Godiva is a solid shampoo bar and boasts a beautiful heady scent of jasmine, but leaves my locks softly scented. Applied by rubbing the bar straight onto my hair it surprisingly creates a rich lather within seconds. And although it claims to be a 2-1 shampoo and conditioner, I wouldn't say it conditions, but it isn't drying either. Godiva gives my hair oodles of volume and I find it helps to keep the grease at bay for a little while longer than my regular shampoo. And it may be small, but this bar equates to two bottles of shampoo and is perfect for travel. I've also heard they work well at cleaning makeup brushes (I'll report back on that one).

Have you tried any of these products from LUSH? And what should I try next?
