As the title would suggest Im currently obsessed with
this pot of heaven from Soap & Glory! For Christmas I received the sugar
crush gift set, which included the body butter, shower gel and scrub and to be
frank I would happily kiss the person on the lips who came up with this range -
Its fab.
Now, if you have been reading my blog since last
summer, you will know that I’m... well... let’s say a little lazy when it comes
to moisturising (who isn’t!?). There is nothing worse than attempting to get
dressed after applying a greasy moisturiser - I literally hated moisturising!
Although I purchased Vasline’s Spray & Go Moisturiser and
really enjoy using it, it really doesn’t cut it in the winter, whereas Soap
& Glory’s Body Butter is just a dream and it's perfect for this time of year (I apologise now for totally gushing
over this product!).
This body butter is loaded with shea butter and coco
butter, almond and coconut oil, lime oil and lime tree extract (WOW!). It is a
fresh citrus scent, which I’m sure won’t be to everyone’s taste however, I’m not
a huge fan of the original Soap & Glory scent myself, but this product has
completely won me over. It is one of those products that smells so divine, that I want to physically eat it (don’t of course!), but it honestly smells that damn
good! In addition to wanting to eat this body butter, I have also found myself
throughout the day sniffing my arms and I will admit I have also asked others
to smell my arms (not strangers mind! Ha!) - I can’t believe how long the scent
lasts for. Like I said Im obsessed.
I personally I love to apply this body butter after coming out of the shower in the morning. A little goes a long way, although I’m always tempted to slather on more! The consistency is thick and
creamy and not greasy or sticky in the slightest. I have been able to dress very soon
after - I’m very impressed! The formula is great, my skin and my legs in
particular are so soft and smooth and to be honest my skin has
never looked so good, or felt so hydrated. One of my new years beauty resolutions was to look after
my skin more and right now my skin must love me.
Soap and Glory has done it again - bravo.
